Bike Rental

Technically we do not offer bikes for hire.

We do have an option however, to return any bike you buy and fully own within a month of pick up for 75% of the original value, so long as it is returned in the same condition. We do not condone the use of our bikes in race conditions, nor take any responsibility for you successfully completing your event, or offer a full refund should you DNF on race day. We may also ask you to sign a waiver, as our Public Liability Insurance will only cover us for legal fees, and in NZ the ACC generally takes over in case of accident, in combination with your own travel or health insurances policies (i.e. you cannot sue us in any circumstances, as are taking the bike 'sold as seen' and are responsible for safe operation of the vehicle and following NZ road rules).

These are the only terms we offer i.e. $1000 bike would return $750, $300 would return $225. In event of crash or any significant damage either total loss or you will maybe be able to return the bike whatsoever. Also when returning you may be charged for additional materials such as torn saddle, sliced tyre or damaged wheel etc regardless (but these are minor expenses).

Does that make sense, if so you can select a preferred bike, or bikes and we will have one ready for you when you arrive in Taupo, NZ.
